A Migratory Singer Runs a School.

 A simple man, Mr. Naren Hansda who is well known as folk singer in West Bengal (INDIA) runs a school, named SIDU KANU MISSION where there are thirty orphan residential students and one hundred fifty common students. It is located at Bhali Dungiri(Kadampur) under Arsha police Station in the district of Purulia. 

His basic capitation of running the school is god-gifted his sweet voice and pure mind.Through an exclusive interview, he told that he had keen interest in music from his childhood. Being born and brought up in tribal culture, he learnt to sing and play the traditional instruments naturally.

He was so addicted in music that he neglected all the livelihood activities. As a result the others of the family did not  allow his habit.Because their financial capacity was not good. So he faced in great contraposition in the family.  

Finally he decided to leave from house taking his BANAM(violin) and chooses a life of migratory singer for livelihood.  On hearing his sweet songs, the people donate  money, rice, potatoes and other essential commodities for living. On his way of life , he noticed the helpless orphan babies and deeply strikes his mind. So he managed a land to set up an institution for them. At first ,  he involved the local people to build such institution and formed DHARTI MARSHAL society in 2012. Then the SIDU KANU MISSION was started on 2014 by some volunteer teachers.

        In locality,  he is known as not only a  singer but also a kind man. Now he travels Kolkata, Bombay, Panjab,Hariyana, Assam, Darjeeling and many other states in India for performing folk songs and earns fund to continue the institution. He sings in Santali, tribal language, in Bengali and Hindi. The Tara Bangala, the Rupasibangla , the Telegraph , the Vidyasagar foundation and a reputed organisation of Delhi have honoured him for his noble works
